Shipping Tab
The Shipping tab configures physical shipping properties for the product.
Weight and Dimensions
Section titled “Weight and Dimensions”- Weight (kg) — Product weight used for shipping rate calculations by your configured shipping methods.
- Dimensions (cm) — Three fields for Length, Width, and Height. Used by shipping carriers for rate calculations and packaging optimization.
Shipping Class
Section titled “Shipping Class”Dropdown to assign a shipping class. Shipping classes group products with similar shipping requirements for rate calculation. For example, you might have classes like “Heavy Items” or “Fragile” with different rates.
Shows “None” if no shipping classes are configured in your WooCommerce store.
Exclude from Free Shipping
Section titled “Exclude from Free Shipping”Toggle switch. When enabled, this product will not be eligible for free shipping promotions, even when the customer otherwise qualifies. Useful for oversized or heavy products where free shipping would be cost-prohibitive.
